Rogelio "Gil" Enrico Sumangil Sr.

Gil is the 6th son of Apolonio "Polon" Sumangil and Herminia "Immen" Enrico. His siblings are Trinidad, Camilo, Quirino, Victoria, Sylvia and Danny.

As other Sumangils, Gil is also ambitious but was not able to finish his chosen field which is Architecture prior to his marriage with Estina Dasalla . Gil and Estina have 5 children, namely:

1. Rogelio "Boy" Sumangil Jr.
2. Alexander "Alex" Sumangil
3. Rudy Sumangil
4. Andy Sumangil
5. Amina Sumangil

Gil was active and well loved in PTAs in Baloy and neighboring schools, and once served as Kagawad in his Barangay (Baloy).

He passed away in December of 2008 by vehicular accident.
