"Gorio" Sumangil is one of the children of Bonifacio Sumangil and Lucia Enrico. His other siblings are Porong Sumangil, Evarista Sumangil-Saldua, and Vicente Sumangil.
He was married to Eladia "Elay" Dasalla (+). They are the parents of Loreto "Lito", Angelita "Baby", Helen (+), Rey and Edwin Sumangil
Gorio was an educator and is currently living in Latap, Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija.
