George Acosta Sumangil is the son of Bernardo Lordios Sumangil and Paulina D. Acosta-Sumangil and is the youngest brother to David, Loreta, Violeta and Auring Sumangil.
He is married to Maximina Tinio Jimenez-Sumangil and is now based in Moncada, Tarlac.
George and Mina were gifted with five (5) children, namely:
- Eddielito Sumangil
- Editha Sumangil
- Noel Sumangil
- Rosario Sumangil-Wong, and
- Jhanuarie Sumangil
